This a third yearly demo contest for the MetaTrader 5 expert advisors held by MetaQuotes. The prize fund is, as always, $80,000. The registration for this automated demo contest is completely free. The registration is open from June 4th till September 21st and the actual trading will last from October 1st till December 28th, 2012. You need to register for the championship and upload your expert advisor during the registration period. The expert advisor with the highest profit by the end of the contest is declared a winner. There are 3 prize places:
- 1st — $40,000.
- 2nd — $25,000.
- 3rd — $15,000.
The trading is performed on an account with $10,000 starting balance and 1:100 leverage. 12 major currency pairs are available for trading and your expert advisor can trade on all of them simultaneously:
The detailed rules for the championship are available here:
You register an account on the championship page, enter your personal details and upload your working expert advisor that doesn't break any championship rules. It passes the backtest on the date range from 2012-01-01 to 2012-12-01. During the course of the contest it trades and earns $83,588.00 profit. That qualifies you for the 2nd place. $25,000 prize will be transferred to your bank account after the championship.
